"Brokeback Mountain" gay cowboy craze seems to have inspired Marc Jacobs. The fashion demi-god is throwing a holiday hoedown Wednesday night at Skylight, an event space on Hudson and Spring streets. The spot will be transformed into a veritable dude ranch with hay bales covering the floors and security men dressed as Wild West sheriffs. Jacobs' underlings have reportedly been taking country line-dancing classes in preparation for the down-home soiree." (page 6)Marc Jacobs of course forgot to invite us. But we forgive him because we love him. Our only hope is that cowboy boots and hats don't make a comeback anytime soon.
