10 AM Carolina Herrera

Just watched the Carolina Herrera show. I was sitting next to a very charming buyer from Moscow's Podium, Tatiana. Carolina Herrera shows certainly attract a lot of New York's beaumonde. I loved all the Upper West Side dames in diamonds and tweed suits.They actually made the Tents look like the plastic surgery wing of Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Ivanka Trump should stop hanging out with them, she's my age but dresses 45.

Daria opened the show in a Silver fox coat which was followed by an array of 60's style looks that Carolina Herrera remembers all too well. I made a note to myself to buy a round-collared Jackie O box jacket - I keep seeing it over and over again in different collections. This was supposed to be a photo of Suzy Menkes. She's behind the model
Completely distracted by the gloriously infamous front row I couldn't even concentrate on the show: Wintour, Andre Leon, Graydon Carter, Amy Astley, Suzy Menkes ... These guys are so famous they literally look like caricatures of themselves. At the end of the show Wintour jumped up and ran out as if the place was on fire. I don't know how she bears to even breathe the same oxygen as the common people. The hippy chic-looking PETA activists, of course, waited outside with banners and anti-fur chants. Such high drama.
