Just returned from tonights' Jason Wu show which was very pretty in a tight-bodice-taupe-coctail-dress way with some lace thrown in the mix. I had the invite but a week at the Tents taught me to avoid the lines and the perpetually confused PR interns at check-in. Cutting the line is so much easier.

I had no time to write but Heatherette was a feast The Dreams come true in New York City theme didn't really bring tears to anyone's eyes (it was more Disney-cheesy as opposed to Galliano-campy) but the celebrity-gawking quota was certainly filled for a few years ahead:
We were introduced to the concept of Tinsley Mortimer (her faux-model runway strut is adorable), as well as Naomi Campbell (does she drink the blood of innocent newborns and where do I score some?!), Jay McCarrol (surpisingly friendly) and various America's Next Top Model runner-ups (they get a real thrill out of people looking at them. Aww.) There were many many more TV and pop stars but I can't even remember now. View entire collection here.

For next fashion week the plan is to sneak backstage and chat with all the models - that should put our fluent Russian to work.
